Gas Fired Copper Reds

Previous glazes utilized copper burgundy reds with matt gold and crawling double dipped glazes fired in reduction. Current decorative explorations include underglaze painting, slip decoration combined with crazed glazes in oxidation.

Decorated Vessels

A range of low fired decorated vessels. I want to incorporate the decorative elements as part of the 3-dimensional making process. I am seeking interesting asymmetrical compositions, explored through deconstructing, line, colour and the addition of unit parts to the final piece that play with the meaning, interpretation, and functionality of the vessel.
